Simply the best.

Five years ago, Gus built a substantial new kitchen for me and my late wife. At the time, I got several quotes, but although Gus was a little more expensive than others, it was clear that he was totally on top of his game. His quote was detailed and accompanied by a full set of drawings.
Gus and his wife Claudine delivered an awesome kitchen.
Attention to detail sets Gus apart. His project management and coordoination of other trades is precise and timely.
Five years later I have now remarried and am downsizing.
The house we have bought is only 8 years old, but although the kitchen was typical of most newer homes, it was not in the same class as the Tranne AC kitchen which we will be leaving behind.
I had no hesitation in getting Gus to replace the kitchen entirely.
By good design, the storage has increased dramatically. The new kitchen is far more functional and fresh. My wife is totally delighted. Gus even helped recycle some of the old cabinets to provide much needed strage in the laundry.

Gus is the consumate professional. His equipment is first class. He and his wife claudine make an awesome team.

The end product far exceeded our expectations

Gus invited us down to Holmview to inspect his workshop. What impressed us on entering the premises was the immaculate condition of the residence and gardens, vehicles and workshop.
The kitchen plans were professionally prepared and accurate. As our island bench and wall cupboards had a 30 degree bend, angles had to be accurately calculated and checked. The process to co-ordinate electrical, plumbing and plasterer was handled with seamless precision.
The end product far exceeded our expectations and we would strongly recommend Gus and his lovely offsider, wife Claudine.

From the moment Gus arrives (promptly) for the measure and quote, you know this is the man to build your kitchen.

He is busy with his measure and asks all the right questions. His eye for detail and anticipation of unforeseen problems (plus solutions) impress immediately. During the build he is totally focused and driven, normally by his own promised completion date – this being a particular point of pride for him. He returns phone calls! He rejects any suspect elements, normally before you even see them or their arrival. Meticulous plans are drawn (or re-re-re-drawn in our case) in rapid fire succession. He has a small, proven team, including Claudia, his wife. Extra trades, he works with must conform to his exacting standards of timeliness and professional finish. He only uses Blum fittings. This is not an area to skimp on. Blum IS IT. He knows the product and supplier intimately and they have a great respect for him. This is our third (and final) wet area renovation. How we wish we had known Gus in 2008 – our 2010! No compromises – Gus 4 us!

My husband and I had a number of cabinet makers come and talk to us, however from the beginning it was very clear that Gus had a real passion for kitchen design and construction and clearly stood out from others in the trade. We had a particular vision in mind, clean lines, no clutter, more space, organised storage and a design to help us be more efficient, and maximise the use of the space and our time. I first came across Gus on True Local while searching for someone to renovate our kitchen. Like so many others, I had experienced the trail of renovators through our home telling me what and how they will design OUR kitchen with little, if any consultation with us. Gus arrived on a Saturday morning and we knew that he was the renovator for us. From the start, he listened to what we wanted, talked things through with us and in his gentle manner gave us his expert advice. Once we had agreed on a plan, Gus and Claudine returned to take measurements and brought with them a showroom of splashback colours, bench top options and cupboard handles. They were so patient and helpful as we contemplated colours and were more than happy to allow us the time to select exactly what WE wanted. Not once throughout the whole renovation process did we feel pressured to go ahead with anything we were not comfortable with. True professionalism & quality workmanship – Tranne A.C. Interiors was the most impressive of all businesses we dealt with during the 9 month renovation of our home in Graceville.

We found Gus on TrueLocal & first met him in Apr14 to design & build our kitchen. The kitchen wasn’t completed for another 18 months (Sep 15) due to delays with the build.

These delays involved considerable inconvenience to Gus, yet he never indicated this to us. He made frequent trips to our property, only to find the progress reported by our builder had not been achieved.

Once the kitchen installation was complete, Gus stayed in contact & returned twice to rectify very minor issues with 2 doors.

From the moment Gus arrives (promptly) for the measure and quote, you know this is the man to build your kitchen.

He is busy with his measure and asks all the right questions. His eye for detail and anticipation of unforeseen problems (plus solutions) impress immediately. During the build he is totally focused and driven, normally by his own promised completion date – this being a particular point of pride for him.

He returns phone calls! He rejects any suspect elements, normally before you even see them or their arrival. Meticulous plans are drawn (or re-re-re-drawn in our case) in rapid fire succession. He has a small, proven team, including Claudia, his wife. Extra trades, he works with must conform to his exacting standards of timeliness and professional finish. He only uses Blum fittings. This is not an area to skimp on. Blum IS IT. He knows the product and supplier intimately and they have a great respect for him. This is our third (and final) wet area renovation. How we wish we had known Gus in 2008 – our 2010! No compromises – Gus 4 us!

My husband and I had a number of cabinet makers come and talk to us, however from the beginning it was very clear that Gus had a real passion for kitchen design and construction and clearly stood out from others in the trade. We had a particular vision in mind, clean lines, no clutter, more space, organised storage and a design to help us be more efficient, and maximise the use of the space and our time. Gus definitely delivered what we had in mind! Our new kitchen is perfect in every way, I wouldn’t change anything. Our kitchen would not look out of place in a modern kitchen design magazine, we are incredibly proud of it. Our children love the new space and whilst they are only small they are enjoying helping put things away in the new electrically driven draws. Everything in our kitchen has customised storage and this was remarkably achieved in the design stage. All our expectations were met including completion on schedule. We are looking forward to having Gus back when we renovate the bathroom and walk-in robe.
